I fucking love Trixie. I love her so much shes easily in my top 5 favs. ANYWAYS.. yeah I normally dont like humanized ponies but w/e i wanted to try it.  also my scanner killed the colors. 
So I watched the episode with the MMM cake and the train and Twilight and Pinkie were in sherlock hats  and It was so fucking cute and I couldnt resist! 
I waited like a day to post this But AHH I LOVE TAVRIS SPRITE SHES SO CUTE <3333 I already miss her sniff. I really wish she had more screen time w/e man 
Oh no no darling! you arent bothering me at all! I love helping others any way I possibly can!  To answer your first question… For me… I tend to have a couple different “Styles”. (“Styles” because well.. you can still tell it is my art! But its a tad bit different.)  But really.. for me I take a lot of inspiration from people. Even my style at the moment, I wouldnt even have this art style if it werent for B-Marble . She’s helped me a lot actually!   But here is a secret… when I was about 13… I didnt even have a style! I mean I did but it was mediocre and unoriginal for the most part. And I used to be into a lot of ANIME. And I used to try and draw exactly like NARUTO or KINGDOM HEARTS. I mimicked the style and I didn’t even have a ‘Style’ Until I turned about 16. Im not even sure how I managed to gain a “style” it just sort of happened.  But It is hard trying to have an original style and everything. But really.. for me my art is a bunch of things I love all mushed into one thing. Which is why I get a lot of different things! Such as my art looks like Teenage Robot, Clone high, edd ed n eddy ect. (Which makes me happy because I love all of these!)  So really what I am saying.. is that if you see something that you like, why not try it out? Be it noses or eyes or anything. try looking at different things and maybe applying it into your art.  No harm in trying and if you really like a certain art style I say take inspiration from it!  (Also using Karkat and eridan for examples because.. well this is my Fanart blog after all.. *shrug)  HOW I MAKE CHARACTERS DIFFERENT IN APPEARENCE? Whenever I draw different characters… I like basing them off of Shapes! Like as you see here I make Karkat a circle whilst Eridan is a Rectangle!  Because in real life, when you look at people.. unless they are TWINS then they shouldnt be looking EXACTLY like eachother! maybe they have the same body type but even then facial structure and GENETICS come into play! Like lets take Karkat… I like picturing him as this Husky short guy whos all pudgy. I suppose it fits his angry personality *shrug* Its just a thing I like to picture.  Now to make characters look different.. you can also take their personalities and apply them into their looks!  Even if its a small something. Like Karkat’s hands shown here are big and stubby. and then when you look at Eridan’s hands they look a little but like his fins! Its a small characterization like that, that will set apart characters looking or being different from one another.  For Cartoons afterall, are about exaggeration.  And.. yeah just like how I draw Eridan’s nose.. its long and ridiculous. Kind of like a sword fish. : D  It isn’t too hard making characters different. Its all about body type and expression for me!  Jeez I hope this wasnt too long or boring.. or if it made ANY lick of sense.  Well Enjoy! I hope that this helps you out some!
